The College of Arts and Letters (CAL) registered its lowest voters’ turn-out in three years with only 399 out of 1239 students participating in the student council (SC) election today.

The USC Election Technical Team, the people beyond the Halalan program used for the university-wide computerized elections, released the complete results for the USC elections, as well as the results from college elections.

The Student Alliance for the Advancement of Democratic Rights in UP (STAND-UP) narrowly dominates this year’s University Student Council elections, taking the top two positions along with five of the ten councilor seats.

The National College of Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG) moved their local elections to March 11 in response to a protest filed by 59 students.
NCPAG students, however, were still able to vote for officers of the University Student Council.
Article VII, Section 1 of the NCPAG Student Council constitution states that the council elections should be held simultaneously with the USC elections under the facilitation of the College Electoral Board (CEB).
